The Voentorg building has been re-imagined to achieve a harmonious mix of business, retail and on-site day to day amenities.

The renovation of the Voentorg began with a detailed research of public needs and architecture of the surrounding district and, and as a result, decided to renovate the building in line with modern business demands and expectations of such an important location.

The goal was to create a new business environment in Voentorg which would better utilize the strengths of the building whilst paying homage to its’ historical significance and position. Three floors, previously open to the general public as retail areas, were subsequently transformed into office and business use.

The choice of simple and elegant materials is conscious it references Voentorgs’ past and builds upon the original project. Natural stones and metallic finishes were common in Moscow Art Nouveau, as well as the reliance on buildings’ functionality.
